It's been 4 days since my hair transplant (5,100 FUT/FUE) and so far things are looking good. However, I really do not feel comfortable shampoo'ing my hair even though my doctor advised me to do it every day post-op. I don't plan on the hair receiving abrasion or even going to be touched by anything, so I don't think that is going to be an issue.

Is it alright to not shampoo? Any opinions appreciated. Thanks!

After my procedure I was told to use only baby shampoo for the first 6 months. I think this has to do with chemicals in other shampoos being possibly detrimental for new growth. I thnk this could mitigate anything possibly going wrong. Otherwise I strongly recommend your doctors post op instructions.
